Although the weather outside is frightin'... okay, I promise no Christmas Carols just because it's snowing in APRIL!
We are on the down hill slide to Spring Fling in Nova, Ohio on May 23,2009! Heirloom Plant and Seed Sale with 10% of my farms (Harvest Thyme Farm) proceeds going to the Mavens Seed Bank fund to preserve heirloom seed. I'm hoping that the Mavens will have enough $ to supply each member with enough extra seed to plant, grow and harvest to donate to our local food banks next summer.
Here is a list of happenings: If you are in or around the Ohio area that weekend we'd all love to see and visit with you! Fingers crossed, there'll be NO SNOW! Although, in this state, stranger things have happened!
Friday Night! Meet and Greet Farmgirl Bonfire! Its my pleasure to welcome farmgirls from IN, VA, TX, OH, KY, and even Miss Rene' Groom herself all the way from Warsh-ington!
Saturday: Plant and Seed Sale. All heirloom varieties as started by the Mavens. I got a "greenhouse" in my dining room just waiting to get comfy in your garden! Trunk Show featuring farm girl ware, Farmgirl Round-Up, A Spinning Demo all the way from Thistle Cove Farm (www.thistlecovefarm.com), corn hole, horseshoes and more! Delicous pulled pork sammies made by my goodest hen fren (Lora) FarmallChick, and organic granola, herbed popcorns, sweet tea and minted lemonade. Oh yeah, can't forget the sweets!
Sunday: All mavens will be pooped. The day is up for grabs.
Monday: Join us for a day of shopping in Ohio's Amish Country.
If you can only stay an hour or stay a whole bunch of hours, I'd love to welcome you as a guest here at Harvest Thyme Farm.

I emailed you.
We'll be there. Can't wait to meet lots of farmgirls.
When I told my daughter about it this morning, she looked at me kind of funny and said,"I guess I always knew you'd find a group as weird as you are" Gee, thanks, honey!!!
