Bonjour, gal pal Texas Fran! So good to see your posts, and you are in good hands with your two cute guys to do your bidding. So happy to hear that you are a good ways into this healing journey and will soon be heading back into your normal crafty farm life. It is almost 90 degrees here in Norfolk today, so if it's that warm in your neck of the woods, let that drowsy feeling slip into a sweet dream. Wow, a new stove AND a puppy to play with.... And hey, dark chocolate has health benefits, so I say "Bon appetit"!!! Love and hugs, Nance

hello to everyone who took the time to stop in with well wishes.
i am feeling about the same, but in my moments of being awake i do like to come here and check in on everyone and play a little with my crafts, even if it is just to post a pic or two.
thanks to steph for helping me figure out how to post the pic in my signature.
i hope this week i will be awake more and can acutally do a little crafting and posting on my blog. i do miss it.
hey galpal in virginia, wish i was there, visiting with you and andre.
thanks once more to linda and talitha for their well wishes too. talitha, i feel like we havent heard from you in a long time, but these days i really dont always know if it is me or the other farmgirl that has been missing.

I posted on your blog, Frannie--don't worry about the hairloss...you'll find enough hair from that puppy and kitty in that Texas heat, that you can make a sweater!!

too funny, jonni, but really i have thought that clooneys hair would probably be spinnable,,,,,is that a word. anyway, i have never had a "lap" dog and clooney loves me like i have never been loved. he is so funny, he cant take his eyes off me. both of these critters sleep with me at nite....i think that is verboten, but i let them do it anyway.

Actually, there are two ladies local to me that make "dog hair" sweaters, scarves, etc...some of the hair is really fine--probably like Clooney's. Our Finn, is a pitt/english setter mix and his hair is like fine, white floss.

I'm just so happy that you have a true companion--and yes of course, let them sleep with you. They can be the best medicine one can ever, ever have!!! I know it's nothing like what you're experiencing, but when I went through my divorce, my husky, Lil and my two cats, Jack and Pumpkin, slept with me every night...sometimes their fur was so wet with tears, but they never complained, just snuggled in closer.

well, i dont know about you, jonni, but i have always had a harder time with emotional pain. and right now i am not experiencing pain i just have alot of exhaustion and recently some nausea.
this past weekend we all went to denton, texas to my daughters graduation from college. we all partied down for 2 days and i think had a wonderful time. i made some of the party favors and the girls looked so pretty and well it was just fun to dress up and have a party time for a change.

Me, too, Frannie...the blues really get me--I can muddle through just about any physical pain (heck, I thought labor wasn't too bad at all!) as long as I have some ibuprofen :) Emotional distress is a whole 'nother animal.

I'm so glad that you had a good time at the graduation--a change of scenery will do you good. In fact, I'm due one myself!

Hey Frannie,

Glad to hear from you..sounds like a fun time in Denton...I had to laugh..I've traveled so much in my life..I used to live in the tiny town or Roanoke, Texas which is not that far from Denton. That was some 25 years ago I guess.

Have a great day,
Steph

so good to hear from you farmgirls.i am trying to get back with the program and right now my plan is to blog at least every monday,so if you didnt check out yesterdays entry please do. it really tickles me when folks leave a comment, thanks jonni. i hope today, or tonite to check out violets blog and yours too stephani. before the breast cancer i had developed more of a habit of checking out the blogs, i loved yours steph as well as so many others here nancy jo, aunt jenny, well the list just goes on and on, i also love marian/dutchys. she is definitely our pink farmgirl. everytime i need a chuckle i just go back to her post where she is dressed up like a nun.heheheheh.
the first pic is of clooney in our tiny computer room, it is cozy for sure.
this pic is of a treasure i acquired in denton, at my first yard sale in a long time. it will probably go to olivia if she likes it. it is reversible.
