well, not literally, cause this farmgirl is sceeered to death of horses (wish it werent so) but i am half way through my chemo and so far so good. and i finally have my feet back on the ground...thats the good news,,,,the bad news is my house, craft room etc the farm looks pretty much like ground ZERO...whereas i look like a Famous tv star, no kidding, who'da thunk that under all that hair.
there would be a famous celeb look alike.
so far my family and friends have not been able to see it until i divulge the answer but i have faith that a farmgirl will be able to see the similarity.
okay, i would love to give a prize for this, but unfortunately i still owe our beloved zan her prize. and i believe that was a looooong time ago.
so this look alike contest will be just for the fun of it. please, help a farmgirl on chemo have some fun. ya wouldnt believe the things ya give up during chemo, but with my good luck hot fudge sundeaes and coffe are not on the list of bad tasties.

hey marcy, thanks so much for the repy. i have missed everyone and have been busy at the same time. mostly sleeping which apparantly is not one of the things you give up during chemo. i sleep alot, but i am awake at the craziest times.
no guesses on the famous tv star huh? be brave although i have been known to be overly sensitive when i am being diagnosed with cancer i have become my tough farmgirl again and i can take it. okay, i am still alittle tender, but at least now i know it.
here is a hint. the tv star is also bald headed but not from chemo as far as i know.

Hi Frannie, I have been thinking about you! So glad you are back with us. Well if I must guess, which I feel is an insult to one of my favoite farmgirls, the non hair due look might be TELLY S. But I think then you must always have a sucker in your mouth. So perhaps its that famous opera singer who wares beautiful gowns, but I can't recall her name. At any rate, you will save a lot of money at the beauty parlor for awhile. Now I wish I lived closer I could help you with that ground zero thing, I know if I leave Richard here alone for any length of time things can go down hill real fast. So what are you working on when you are not cleaning or sleeping? My Bonnie bunny and Belle then you big hugs.

thanks for the brave guesses, farmgirls, but alas, no and no.
nancy jo, i am working on rearranging things here to make cleaning easier. but in the meantime i am causing a bigger mess.
i am having lots of fantasies about crafting and i will post those as they occur. i wish you could come see me just for fun....but since neither one of us fly that probably wont happen. maybe we could meet in the middle some time at miss wilmas.
another hint: my look alike is a man, but not telly savalas.
i love claudette colbert, but was she ever bald headed. i dont think so.
also my look alike is a tv star.

Uncle Fester from the Addams family? Daddy Warbucks? Sorry, neither of those sounds very complimentary, but they are the only famous bald guys on tv that I can think of.

Frannie, you're looking good girl!!!!! I would say your match would be....grin.....my mama. She looked good with her bald head when she went through chemo!!!!! She was hoping her hair would come back in thicker, she had thin hair, darn it or curly. No such luck for her, but you never know what can happen!!!!!!
Congrats girl, you are halfway done. Make sure you have a party when the chemo is done!!!!! A major party.
