Here is a picture of the cabinets Mom done for her best friend. She taught herself to do it so her best friend wouldn't have to pay to have it done, which was going to be very expensive. They are gorgeous. I hope this picture posts, if not I'll have to try something else.

Mikki, those are beautiful!!! Your mom did a great job. I've been wanting to learn how to do stained glass, but time just won't let me, yet!

Those are beautiful! Your mom was very talented. I think it's so nice that she learned to do that for her friend.

She did do a great job. I remember when her friend was going to have her new cabinets done. Mom said, Lord that's way too expensive. Don't you dare get them. I can make you some. And her friend said Why Sally, you've never done that before. Mom said No, but I'll learn. Her friend Wanda admits to being really worried of the outcome. lol But she still crys when she talks about how beautiful they are and that mom wouldn't let her pay her for the job. Mom has done her curtains, made her lamp shades, just about everything. We'd be out shopping and I'd have something lovely clutched to my bosom and mom would say "Whyyy I can make that, put that back", lol. And she always could.

What an inspiration!
I wish I had the space, time or talent to pull something off as beautiful as that.
What a treasure.
