Sterl went out hunting yesterday and found his first dryland fish for the season.Any of you found any yet

I'm not certain, but I have heard Morel Mushrooms referred to as "dryland fish".

I assume you mean morel mushrooms. How do you cook them? It will be a while us Northerners find some. Happy eating. JoAnn

They are morels, I soak in salt water after slicing,at least overnight, then dip in buttermilk, roll in flour meal salt and pepper then fry to brown in oil. All of our family love them
