My grandson got silly putty stuck all over his new cotton shirt. It won't come off. Any good solutions? MB

I have used Citrasolv to remove Silly Putty from carpet - it worked great on the carpet, I would assume it would work on cotton too. It is an all natural product, available in natural/organic food stores. It also took some automotive grease out of the carpet - my landlord was amazed!!

I think if you Freeze the shirt and it will chip off.

Diana, My daughter tried the freezer method but it didn't even harden like gum does and it wouldn't pick off.
