I know there are lots of recipes around. Here's another:
2 c. leftover cooked oatmeal
1 carrot, ground/chopped/grated
2 heaping spoonsful applesauce/applebutter (spiced or plain)
good handful of flour
Mix all until it will round up on a teaspoon. (Add flour or oats until it will hold together) Grease cookie sheet. Drop by rounded teaspoon. Bake 400 for 12 min. Cool on sheet 1-2 min. Remove to counter to finish cooling.
DH always cooks up too much oatmeal. The dog went nuts over his "very own" cookies. Going to try them out on the horses next.
