I got my package today of the bundle #2 of the magazines and my 10# of bakeover mix and my knickers pattern and my renewal of my sisterhood membership.

I am never disappointed when I order from MJF! I am devouring these magazines as I sit in bed. It's made me motivated for Spring despite the fact that in the coming week we are to get more snow. I love the Hen Hotel!! I have an old outhouse that my birds live in presently and I want to badly to refurbish it this Spring/Summer for my birds. Can you imagine my beautiful Black Langshans frolicking around their beautiful hen hotel??

Oh I am always inspired! I have to go get my other magazines and the books out and sit in bed and read them ALL as I get over this week of being sick!

Thank you Mary Jane et al for all of the beautiful things you give us to inspire and get us all back to simplicity and loveliness!

You know what I love best about the books and magazines? They are so information dense that I always find new things that I didn't notice before- and yet the layout is so great you don't feel like you are reading a text book! I was arranging all my MJF stuff together on the shelf and was surprised at how thick it is all together! It is great!

I told ROb last night as I got out my other magazines that these are not JUST magazines! They are valuable reference materials! Patterns and tips and ideas and recipes. So many things in each magazine! How could anyone think to throw this magazine out after htey are done using it? How can one be DONE using it!? LOL!

Exactly! LOL

I joked to Doug once that I was thinking of taking them down to Kinkos to get them all laminated- but it so hard to want to cut apart the magazine to protect it!

So I am way newer to this Farm Girl/Mary Jane's empire but I too share in this excitment and education! For me, Mary Jane is like the goddess of country livin. She sticks to the basics and keeps everything very real.

We don't have a lot of money and we have to make do or be inventive. MJ mags are fantastic inspirations and reminders that ladies have been doin this,if not a heck of a lot more, for a long long long time. It is hard raising a family; living urban or rural, people often feel secluded and alone in their struggles. It is important for this wealth of information to be shared and accepted.

I have to admit, I have a subscription to another northwest magazine and so many things that are being talked about on this forum was just featured in there. . . I then realized how Mary Jane is so ahead of the times and leading in the trends because she(and most of her readers) never left the ways that work.

So may I join in the graditude and wish everyone at MJ (and Empress Mary Jane herself) many many Blessings.

Thank you for all that y'all do ~Heide

Heide- It's really awesome to see new people learning about MaryJane all the time! I really love her advise because it is down to earth and actually _works_. How many times have we all heard a tip only to find out that it was a total flop? It's so frustrating to spend money on something only to have it not work out! But everything I have tried that MaryJane has recommended has worked out exactly how she said it would! That just thrills me! I am one of those wretched people that like to see good results right away on everything I do! LOL
