On my way to work this morning I passed the beginning of the funeral procession for the four Oakland police officers that were shot last week. It was such a massive parade that it's blocking up traffic on our largest freeway - so many cars, hundreds of buses with "In Memory" on their displays, literally THOUSANDS of police cars with lights flashing. It was such a sad, sad site. It made me think of Kristin and everyone else who's been touched by this tragedy.

It was so senseless, and I can't even imagine. It leaves a huge hole in the pit of my stomach.

It is so sad, it reminds me of the Attica riots, My neighbor and some family friends were killed. My girlfriends dad was just and electrican and he was also taken hostage and killed. One never knows when the end is here. Live your life right, when your gone only your name will live on.

Hope all your days are Sunnydays.
