Posted a picture of a little sampler I found years ago in a book. I bet some little girl made it. Baked a choc. pudding whipped cream cake this morning. I should feel pretty woozy later on today. As you can see I already had a taste to make sure its safe for the family to eat.

Nancy Jo, that is the sweetest little sampler, and how nice you were the lucky one to find it. That cake looks pretty good too. I have been making nine patch blocks until my brain started to go under. Time for more coffee.

Yes that little sampler is cute. I wonder if they had a pattern or did it free hand, if I had to do it free hand it would be a stick person at best.

Nancy, I am glad to see someone else that taste tests the food before feeding it to the family. My kids were in high school before they got a whole candy bar. They still talk about it. When they were little and money was tight, I would buy 3 candy bars and then I'd take a little bite of each one (getting my chocolate fix) then tell them it was OK to eat. |
