I have a question for all of you wise farmgirls out there. I love garlic and I love all of its health benefits. But I'm not so sure it loves me. lol Within 30-45 minutes after I have eaten it, my belly swells up with gas. Any comments or suggestions?? Thanks! :)
I just did some research and garlic has many sulfur containing compounds. Some people do not digest those compounds well and the result is gas and bloating. I will have to try drinking peppermint tea after eating garlic and see if that helps.
