Can anyone give me suggestions for making a clothsline? I have a pole that was let from a dish tower. And I wanted to know what else I can use for the rest of the cloths line?
Thanks

I made my clothes line from the hay ropes off my bales. I tied them taughtly between the stakes that were guarding my baby trees. Now the trees aren't babies, but I left all the lodgepole stakes in so I could still have my clothes line. :) You can really use about anything, but beware that even though it may look taught, once you hang a few wet jeans on, it will stretch and you may have to pull it taught again. :)

My husband went to the Tractor Supply and found clothsline that has a rubber or plactic coating on it. I thought that would be better instead of any kind of rope because of the reason that Molly stated.
