I have to share this with you all. This Friday evening, as I was putting my artisan bread from MJ into the oven, hubby said to me "After dinner we can go look at paint chips for that cabinet you want to do, or we can get tomato cages at Target." I said to him I would rather fence the snap peas. Then I began to smile. I went into him and said, any farmgirl would love his suggestions, and we would do them tomorrow, because on this balmy evening, I want to bake bread and fence my peas!!!
So how is your farmgirl evening going?

Wish my night was going as well as yours. I found out I"m allergic to the antibiotic the M.D. gave me on Tuesday for my sinusitis so I stopped taking it. I ran a fever for 8 hours and now just feel yucky.
It is very nice to hear of your lovely evening though. Thank you for sharing. Cindy

Oh Cindy, I hope you are feeling better today. My husband got me a "Goat Tote" for my birthday. THe guys at work told him he was going to be in the "dog house" for that. He told them, "You don't know my wife!" He was right, I loved it!

Newest Farmgirl Violet Mae and I spent the evening trying to stay awake...she's got her days and nights a bit mixed up, so I was determined to have her sleep when we did, so Nanny (my mother, her grammy) came over, brought fish from a local church lenten fish fry, and we played and cooed and hung out on the sofa. My Friday nights were never very wild, but I sure do love this new spin!!!! |

We finished painting the living room. Hubby's idea. He was tired of looking at the sheet rock where we covered up a window with a year ago. So we finally got it done! And the rest of the baseboard and the one piece of molding that went over the porch door!!! Yeah! It looks so pretty now. We had to move the piano in here and did some more rearranging in there. Now off to Lowe's for a floor lamp, rugs and another longer curtain rod. I went yesterday and found some pretty white cotton curtains and didn't get the rod long enuf. But I so love new paint. It makes the whole house look good. I also got my little reading corner with my favorite chair.
