Come for a tour of a historical little town on Route 66 that takes you back in time AND where the burros RULE! Lots of new babies again this year. Neat pictures Carol :) Doesn't one of the farmgals here live in Oatman? Did you get to hook up? Gosh I feel bad for Olive, how awful! It's not enough to deal with a horrible loss of family but to be reminded of it daily.

Hey, Sharon, yes, one of our farmgirls lives in Oatman and we've e-mailed and are plannig on meeting next week sometime! I've had out of town company this week but I'm really excited to meet her soon!! We've been visiting Oatman for the past 5 years so who knows, maybe I already know her...anyway I'll keep you posted on our meeting!

I love burros! I'll have to check out those links. When I lived in southern Nevada, it was always neat to see the babies in the spring. They were so unafraid we could walk up pretty close to them on hikes in the desert. I looked at some to adopt from the BLM, but they don't send them this far north...too cold...can't blame the little desert dears, but gosh I love to look at them.
