Here's the first of our new chicks this year! These are an Americana and a Barred Rock. Their names are Claree and Weeza. We're getting three RIR's also but they are on order so we have to wait two more weeks Aren't they teeny?!
They are so cute and very tiny. How many are you getting? I have to wait a few days to get mine yet. It is exiting to get new chickies. Have fun with them.

Aren't they cute Kris?! My hubby said I can get five. We still have three good layers from last year. He originally said four, but I talked him into five so that I can name them after the women in "Steel Magnolias" LOL. At least that's my excuse! Good luck with your also!
Our new baby chicks are on my chicken blog. I have had a great time with them and so has the rest of the family. I noticed that Mary Jane introduced the Chicken Forum I belong to in her last magazine I received, Bark Yard Chicken Forum, and I have been on it for a while now. Maybe you would enjoy it too if you are not already there. I love it. Blessings, Pauline
