I received my new issue in the mail today!!! Unfortunately I have to go get ready for work, so I won't have time to read it til tomorrow. :( I hope yours comes in soon!

I am so GLAD that I got my April/May issue today and it was on time this time. Things are looking up, so now maybe the rest of my subscription will be on time. I am taking time out this evening to enjoy reading this issue.

I received mine today and so did my daughter! Yippee! Hubby went out for the mail before we had lunch, and he came in knowing that conversation wold be nil during the time we ate. And he was right! I love this issue too!

Got mine the other day and stayed up and read it from cover to cover! They just keep getting better and better! I won't spoil it for the rest of you but it is BY FAR my favorite magazine of all! Enjoy everyone!

It's soooo great! I got it last Friday...I looked through it but I haven't had time yet to actually get comfortable and read it yet. I've been busy...it's the last week of classes at my school and next week is finals!! I let one of my sorority sisters have the magazine until I am ready to read it...it would have made me procrastinate on my work otherwise :)

Mine came today; I'm in beautiful Appalachian Mountains of southwest VA. The Stitching Room book is here as well so I'm headed to bed with both for an enjoyable read.

So many magazines bit the dust this year with the economy...Country Home, Mary Engelbreit and another one that I got that is no more but I can't remember what it was now....anyway, but I get Mary Jane's and now I've subscribed to Mother Earth News, and Hobby Farm and Hobby Farm Home so I am "good to go"!!!! Now, if I would just follow through on all the great ideas and advice in all those magazines I would be in REALLy good shape around here!
Mary Jane's is by far my favorite, the most economical ideas and yet not junky. What I mean is she shows you how to be self-sufficient while still being aesthetically pleasing and functional (serving a purpose). My daughter and I used to steer clear of what we called "bleach bottle crafts"....ones that were economical but you really didn't want it sitting on your counter! LOL! Plus, I want most things taking up real estate in my house to have a purpose towards helping the household function...although if you saw my house you would scratch your head over that one!LOL! Mary Jane has shown us that you CAN put economy, self-sufficiency and beauty all in the same sentence and pull it off! It's easy to spend money and come up with something pretty but sometimes not very useful or just the reverse. Mary Jane is like the story of the 3 bears.....she's "just right"! Plus, it saves money so you can put it towards things that truly matter such as buying organic, heirloom seeds, helping those in need etc. It's ALL GOOD! Thank you Mary Jane and all who put so much work into publishing a magazine that inspires all of us to be the best we can be!
