Has anyone else out there ever cooked for their dog? I mean, really cooked--meat, potatoes, grains, veggies, gravy, the works. I tried it for a couple weeks, but discovered I had to feed twice as much of the cooked food as compared to a good, high-protein dog food. The dog food is more concentrated. My dog loved it, of course, and I still feed him "people food" on occasion, but I was just wondering if there was an easy way to cook for dogs that didn't involve feeding mass quantities. By the way, since I started adding Brewer's Yeast to his food, his coat is glossier and the fleas have disappeared. I enjoy cooking for him, just not feeling like I'm feeding a kennel.
