I was reading that the iron and and drieer are 2 of the highest energy "hogs"? I love to hang clothes up to dry but in the winter when there's no breeze I end up with lots of ironing and even in the summer sometimes since alot of the fabrics nowadays are meant to go in a drier to regain their shape especially knits. So, I was wondering if anyone had any information regarding this ie; am I really saving energy or not when I end up with more ironing? I love to hang clothes and I love to iron....but was just curious if I was really saving any money and/or energy? And those knit tops don't really iron well! LOL!

I hate to iron. I say throw them in the dryer with a damp towel for 15 minutes and hang immediately.
