Is this for the 1st craft box? Don't know where the other post is for #2, but I'll just say #2 is finally back in the mail again to the last stop. Sorry it took a week to get it back in the mail.

I guess I am confused as well. Ummm, I thought I was in the swap #2 but it never made it here. Oh well, I am still loaded with lots of craft stuff so I'll just wait and see what happens.

I was the lucky recipient of the box today! Amazing the amount of stuff jammed into that little box! Great variety of goodies to select from. I spread everything out on my desk and checked it out with a little help from my 2 kitties. They were fascinated by the ball of lambswool. I am stumped by one of the items, if the sender could identify it..Green plastic cylinder with a needle coming out of the top, inside is a small wooden spool of thread. I have never seen anything like this and have been collecting vintage sewing items for many years! It has found a home on one of the shelves on the wall of my sewing room..whatever it is:) Thanks, this is alot of fun and the box will be back in the mail before the end of the week. It is like a puzzle trying to fit things back in with the things that I have added.

Yes Karen, it is still coming to Washington but it will be awhile before this box gets to you. It was held up for awhile that is why it is slow moving.

Hi Barbara,
glad you had fun going through the box. I put in the green thing of which you are referring. I found a wooden one that was in a box at a yard sale or some place like that, and kept the wood one for myself so I gave up the green one. I think it is called a sewing awl, check out this website: http://www.ehow.com/how-does_4569713_sewing-awl-work.html to read more about using it to make a lock stich. I have never used it myself, but maybe some day I'll need it...
I don't remember where I got the green one, probably in one of the old sewing kits which I've bought over the years from yard sales/re-usit shops, etc.... it had no box or papers describing how to use it, so I'm just making a guess by the looks of my wooden one that the green one is also a sewing awl...

Thanks Beth for the solution to my new mystery tool..The website was helpful. I am prepared if I ever need to awl something! I always pick up sewing kits and tins of buttons when out at flea markets, antique shows and now garage sales are starting up again..You just can't have too many sewing doo dads.
I am still re packing the craft box and it will be in the mail in a day or 2.

The box is in the mail! Little hint..heading east. Should've seen the looks I got at the post office with this little bulging box totally wrapped in packing tape to keep it from bursting at the seams! lol!

Just a quick note to let you know that the craft box landed in Vermont this morning. I was on my way to the eye doctor and had nothing sharp on me, but managed to get it open (because, hey, who could be civilized and wait until getting home? Not me!) and wow! Full of items! Found a few I can't live without and hope to get the box right back out today, but the next name on the list is crossed out. (Ruth Edmond.) Should I skip her and send it to the name after that? Or do I send it to Ruth? Please let me know so I can get it on its way. Thanks!

Ruth's name is crossed out because she got the box earlier.

Thanks for letting us know "the box" made it to Vermont.

I received the craft box today. Yeah!! It was crammed full of stuff. I have a question though. What if all my stuff won't fit in the little box? Can I send a slightly bigger box?? If not it's okay, I can just try and cram it as full as possible!

If you want to spend more than $4.95 postage (flat rate), feel free to do so. The next person can go back to flat rate if they want to. Keep in mind that flat rate has a 2-3 day delivery time.

Hope you found lots of goodies.
