1-I would love to be the same size I was before kids.
2-Get my farm all cleaned up and pretty.
3-Build a cute little garden shed out front to put all my garden stuff in so I don't have to be always looking for things.
4-Clear out all the clutter in this house.
5-Be totally solar and not be dependant onthe electric company. i'd also like to have our well hooked back up to the house so we won't have city water.

I love reading everyone's someday list. Funny how so many of what is on other's list, I already have. Don't want any more grandkids, got the farm, chickens, gardens, already made several quilts. Also so many things I want to add to my list. Marian, I want a motor bike too.
And a puppy, but not bad enough to go get one.

Right now all I want is a nap.

Such simple dreams we all have, but nice, practical ones. Funny no one REALLY wishes for riches, though we WOULD all like to be comfortable, wouldn't we?

Like Belle though, I have already been blessed with most of what you ladies long for-- Answered prayers I made to God when I was kid-- who says he DOESN'T listen? LOL!! -- and it's a FAMILY owened farm, not soley ours, but I'm ok with that)

Truthfully, my dream is to get all my "Blessings" under CONTROL!!! I suppose that will happen only if I put a little more effort into it. That's all on ME though, isn't it? So, I guess my dream is to have the drive and the energy to get my life orginized, get the critters and all their "Offerings" under control. I'd also like to have a clean house for more than FIVE minutes a day. Not so impossible I think. The kids will be grown and gone soon enough, so I guess I'm halfway there!!! Ahh... but I'll STILL have the HUSBAND..... sigh......

Happy Dreaming ladies! ~~~ Hugs ~~~ Tracy

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away. ~~ George Carlin

Just having my hubby getting healthier day-by-day. He had an allergic reaction to Aleeve last fall and is still having health issues-he was in total kidney failure. It may be at least another 6 months to a year to see real progress. This is difficult and for him, very humbling too. Just one day at a time. We know his kidneys have been completely healed but as he tells everyone, the walking out the healing is the real process! And yes, I too have dreams but they all seem to evaporate from view when I put it into perspective that I could have lost my guy last year. When he's back in the saddle
again, then I'll get back to dreamin'.

2. fill it up with a cosy, warm, family.
3. find some kindred spirits that live close-by. The Diana to my Anne lives too far away :)
4. edit my novel and publish it.

My exotic dream is to reclaim my grandfather's homestead, at least the part of it that has the buildings on it. I would really love to create a home out of the barn. This is it, only a dream. I had so many fond memories growing up there until my step-father moved us so far away. Went back in 2005 and the dreams welled up again. I'm 67 today and too old to realize my dream. If I were younger, then maybe so.

Betty, that dream is similiar to one of mine. If I ever hit the lottery, I am going to go buy my Papa's house that he and his brothers built from scratch, find a HUGE chunk of land and move it.

Heather, if you are young enough--go for it!. I should have done my dream years and years ago. My grandparents house was only 12 x 24 feet or so. It had two rooms, a bedroom and a kitchen. I've been told by a cousin that my grandmother was content with what she had. I would love to be like her. She and my grandfather worked hard for their home and property--as I have for what I have. DARN, should have purchased a lottery ticket tonight. LOL I just turned 67 today and have another dream to try for--a college degree.

these are so fun to read, and to think about... mine are...
1. a property with enough room for a garden, fruit trees, a cozy little home (with a great big porch and swing) and a 2 story barn (workshop for my craft interests)
2. have that dream property be in a small sparsely populated town, near mountains full of trees
3. a kiln for glass fusing, precious metal clay and pottery (and a wheel for throwing pottery)
4. a spinning wheel and loom to spin my own fibers and weave them
5. the knowledge and time to do all of the crafts I want to learn, read all the books I hope to read, and do all of the other crafts which I already enjoy!
