I recycle almost everything I can. dryer lint being one of them. I take dryer lint and stuff it into rolls from toilet paper ect. I have also used cardboard egg containers, I stuff as much lint as will fit and then drip short/broken candlewax over the top. The egg cartons make 12. I like the long tubes the best those I just stuff used papertowels in the ends. They make a great outdoor fire starter, and the tubes you can stuff into twigs to start a nice bonfire. My grandson has the job of taking the lint from the dryer and placing them in the tubes, he does a great job of it. |

And good job on getting the grandson in on doing something thrifty and constructive - how old is he? My son loved to have projects when he was little. Amy Grace

Very smart! It reminded me of something I saw ages ago on the Johnny Carson show. A man made sculpture out of dryer lint. It was very pretty, too! Ever since then I think of that when I remove a big bunch of lint (like after you buy new towels).....and I wonder, how can I use this? Now I know what I can do!

My grandson is 2and a half, He's quite the little helper. Because of him my cubboards are clean, my floors are washed. Especially around his chair. The other day he was holding part of his sandwich to his size and calling for the dog. I told him wrong gramma, we don't have a dog. |

Good Tips. I will put dryer lint on top of my shrubery in the Spring. The birds will take it and use it in their nests

So true. i take my dryer lint and paper rolls camping with me in a baggie. They always work for a great campfire and here at home around the firepit!
