WHAT do y'all collect?? I know most collect a lot, but just name 3 of your biggest collections.
1) Angels. I have quite a few, a couple Jim Shore I received as gifts. And other Angels too, I love them they are dainty and just cute :) I have a few concrete ones in the garden and received a pretty big one last year from friend A as a bd. gift. 2) Cookbooks, well no need to explain this, lol. And me, a person who hardly ever cooks (hangs head in shame) just love cookbooks, lol 3) USA decorating/interior magazines like Romantic Homes, Victorian Homes etc. I absolutely LOVE those, I love reading them, getting new ideas for my shabby chic/romantic interior and just keep all of them that I have.
I collect MANY more things but I promised myself not to list more then 3, lol. If I would have to list them all I would get crazy just reading it :) SO gals, what is your top 3 list of collections??

So, Marian, I happen to have an angel collection, too, but I'm thinking I'll be letting it go at some point this year along with my teddy collection. I'll be keeping you in mind ;)
So, Bonnie, what do you do with all the papers and postcards? Do you frame them? Or put them in binders? How do you protect them?
These are my 3 that I will never part with: ~Cobalt blue glass - doesn't even have to be old - I love it anyway ~birdhouses - both useful and decorative ~candles and candleholders - I started collecting them for practical reasons - we lose power a lot up here. I'm sure I have hundreds (and still look for new ones all the time!). Not all out on display, though. That would just be too much.

I used to collect lots of things, but have downsized a bunch the last several years. But I do collect cookbooks, roosters and aprons.

I used to collect a lot of things that I no longer collect. It is hard to get people to stop giving you stuff after you stop collecting or loose interest. I used to collect bells, geriffs(sp) things with Iris on them. Now I collect: 1. Recipes/cookbooks 2. Yard/garden ornaments 3. Dust |

How'd I miss this thread til now? I collect old potato mashers! I've been doing it for about 15 years and now I only pick up ones that have a different "masher part". You'd be surprise at how many different kinds of mashers there are. I just found one that folds up so it'll fit in the drawer!
