I have been terribly negligent the last week getting back to folks. I have received wonderful items I bartered for or were just sent to me just because folks knew I was looking for a few things....

I've meant to get some fabric arranged to be sent, and I'm supposed to be sewing an apron for a swap.

Those are my MJ "lists" to tend to. :-)

But I am suddenly in the middle of a very unfortunate though ongoing marital issue and although my husband is away teaching for the next week, when he gets back, he will be moving out.

So I am exhausted. The wind has been gusting at 40mph for 5 days. This is the first quiet morning - no wind! It has snowed which is a huge amount of short-lived fun, but that also means it below freezing and the only warm place to be is in one of the yurts so work on the center is way behind as we prepare for the upcoming 5 week study term when 200 people will descend on Feb 21.

Even the things I could do in the comfort of my little "home", like answer your emails, is too much to think about.

Please forgive me, but I may be offline for a bit. I need to rearrange. I do want to figure out how to get what I need to get for the apron exchange since, well, guess who owns my car now? Yes, I gave it to him since I was here all the time! lol

I just got my Sisterhood certificate and badge #473! Maybe as things in my own head settle down, I can take comfort in some by the fire quality time and get back in touch soon.

Thanks everyone.

Allison, I'll be thinking of you and praying. Sometimes life takes turns that we aren't expecting and we have to take time to process everything. Sending warm thoughts and hugs your way.

Allison, just keep putting one foot in front of the other...k? So many times I've wondered how will I ever get through this (insert a setback here)and I wait and hope and pray and things eventually fall into place and I'm a way stronger person for being put to the task....

hugs....

Allison, let me send an apron to the person you are signed up to send one to. It may not be exactly what they requested, but I will pick a cute one from my stash to send to them if someone will e-mail me and tell me how to do it. You will get the one from your person to keep and enjoy and you can cross at least one "to do" off your list. I have never joined a swap so someone please tell me what I need to do. Thanks Janneane
