I don't think I will be hanging out clothes today like I did on Saturday. This is what I woke up to this morning!

Oh golly, I hope we don't get any more snow here! Ours just finally melted. It was a record high of 64 here yesterday! Today it is raining like crazy though and the temps are going to slowly drop over the next week. I hope everyone gets an early spring this year. It has been quite a winter.

Amen to that Dawn...I'm up here in the UP of Michigan and this has been the longest winter that I can remember!

Isn't that funny... so many of us are (finally!) losing our snow with this mid-winter thaw, and you got some LOL! Nope, not an outdoor laundry day.

Melody, I'm south of Flint, and I'd swear January felt about 72 days long! Of course, we had snow a month before Xmas that came and stayed, so winter itself seems like it's going on six months at this point. ;) I know my friends in the northernmost corner of the LP are pretty much over winter too... I can't imagine how you folks in the UP are coping.

I recently read a profile about a quilt ship in Marquette. One of the owners said that their local saying is, "We have two seasons: winter's here and winter's comin'!"
