It was pure bliss! My 7 yo daughter kept exclaiming "It sure would be a nice day to garden!" Unfortunately, we could still (and probably will) get a few more snow storms and below 0 temps.
We still enjoyed the day. Puttering in the yard, the girls rode bikes and chalked up the sidewalk. A nice reminder that good weather is on it's way!

I hear ya Deb! I took a super long walk home here yesterday. We got up to 60 here! Today is sunny and a bit chillier, but I can see most of my lawn at last!
I'm really hoping we get a early spring here in IL, we need it badly!

'Twas a happy happy weekend, wasn't it? I just love being outside finally without multiple layers and scarves and such. And to feel the sun and the breeze on my face -- pure heaven.

We're happy dancing in SE Michigan too! :D Two weeks ago, forecasters said we would not get our usual mid-winter thaw, so this is an extra nice surprise.
Personally, I always miss thunderstorms in the winter, so I hope we get some - 50/50 chance, I think. ;)

Doing a happy dance here! I've had my windows open since 5am - it's 50 degrees out. Going up to the low 60's today. But it makes me crazy - I can't do anything outside. boo hoo! I'll go for a nice long walk and look for signs of spring.
Smells delightful out there. We had a nice rain last night - washed away all that black snow.
