                      | What an awesome time in Boise right now! The Special Olympics has now started. I was so touched to watch the opening ceremonies and see all those smiling faces as the athletics walked into the statium. Then to see all those lovely scarfs. It was almost overwhelming to realize I got to play a small part in making that happen, I started to cry! I'll never know who received one of the scarfs I made and that's okay. It's just enough to know I got to help! The TV station has posted various videos and interviews. They can be viewed at www.ktvb.com It will be fun to see how many of those scarfs I see in Boise this next week. I won't be able to go to many of the activities due to work and school, but I will be seeing some of the participates around town.

You can take the farmer's daughter off the farm but you can't take the farm out of the farmer's daughter!!

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, cookies in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming. "WOOHOO, What a Ride!"

                      | Mary, what a blessing you were to others!! No wonder it made you cry. Those athletes are so special and you helped make them shine even more. God Bless you!!

                      | I wish I could be there. I moved to Kentucky from Idaho City. I now work at a facility for challenged adults such as these. I made some scarves and sent them in December Just wish I could have gone with them. There is nothing better then hanging out with these wonderful special people.
