Has anyone here ever made their own MOher of Vinegar culture, and would you care to share your recipe? I am interested in starting one!

Lara I have thought about this but we don't use much vinegar in my house. It sounds interesting though.

I did try to make my own apple cider vinegar with some fresh cider back in the fall. It was good for a few days then went bad. In the book Wild Fermentation he tells how to make all kinds of fermented stuff. I think it was too warm then. I'd like to try again one day.

Good luck with yours, Lara.
