All charms have been received. Look for the next swap in a few weeks

This time we are having a color theme.
Any shade of pink. From a dark pink to a light pink.
Any fabric print. (But try not to use a solid)
Please use 100% cotton. Please pre-wash all fabric.

Please let me know. WE would need at least 11 people.

I have never done a swap like this before, so let me see if I get this right? I would cut 10 6 1/2 inch squares from a pink fabric and that would equal 1 set, correct? Who would I send these to and how many would I get in return?

I have a question...without my getting the rulers out can someone tell me how many 6 1/2 squares are in a fat quarter? I am thinking only 9.
Anyone know?

For those who asked how this will work...
First, yes each set is 10 charms of the same fabric. For each set you send me I will send you a set of 10 different charms.
Linda, your best bet is to purchase or use a true cut 1/2 yard. That is cut from the bult. Remember, each charm is 6 1/2 inches.
When you are ready to mail them, email me and I will send you my address.

Wow, I have lots of joiners already.
But we have plenty of room for more.
You know what they say...
the more the merrier.....

Ruth, Yes, each set will be the same fabric. 5 sets would be five different fabrics.

You can make all kinds of things with the charms. Even mini aprons.........

Ladies,
A few of you did not tell me how many sets you wanted to swap.

Check out the charms from my last swap. This was for calico print fabric. I only had one duplicate fabric. That is amazing!

But this swap is for PINK. Any PINK print you can find. Any shade. Remember, they are 6 1/2 inch blocks. Check your ruler before you cut. What do they say, "measure twice, cut once".

Sharilyn, that happens to me all the time. The other day I went in for a new package of needles. Well those needles cost me about $50.00. I mean, I just had to take that fabric home with me, It was calling me....buy me buy me...take me home, take me home......
But remember, this is a good thing. We need to keep our local fabric shops in business. Its just not the same purchasing fabric my mail. I need to touch it. Like a kid in a candy store!!!

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for all joining.
I am very happy with all the participants. The more the merrier!!
Now remember, I know we all have busy lives outside this thread. So please, please, gather your fabric and cut your charms and mail them to me on or before the due date. I think I gave us enough time. The sooner I receive them, the sooner I can sort and mail them all back. The sooner you receive them back, the sooner you can use them into a quilt top, a purse/tote, mini aprons, or what ever you can dream of.
If for some reason you can not fulfill this swap, please let me know ASAP. In order for this to work correctly, I need 11 participants. We already have 14 and I think that is great.
We have room for more too. 20 participants would be fantastic...
Ok, I will get off my soap box. I just get so excited when a swap works out smoothly.
Everyone have a great weekend.
