Miss Wilma, As soon as I read your post I thought of that beautiful picture of your mother as a young woman. It is so scary when our loved ones get sick. She will be in my thoughts and my heart. I have several breast cancer survivors in my family, and hope your mom gets through this tough time.

Miss Wilma, I just saw this, and I am so sorry-but your momma is one tough gal, and I know she will be in good hands with her doctors, and her Lord. He'll give them the tools, you know!!!

Like Janice said, if there is ANYTHING at all I can do, please let me know--and I mean that!

Give her some hugs from us to, breast cancer is survivable and you have lots of people here who can attest to that.

Hugs to you to Miss Wilma.

Miss Wilma I just saw this post. I am so sorry to hear this. It is a rough one to deal with but I had a friend of mine go through it and come out with flying colors I am sure your momma will too!! If she is tougher than you are, like you say then there is no worry at all right You are the strongest woman I have ever met!! If I could be half the person you are then I have indeed accomplished much!!! I Love you my friend.

Miss Wilma, I just saw the prayer request, sorry I'm a late comer, but mighty prayers for your Mama and whole family. I know that she is a strong fighter and will pull through just fine. You take care of you too and Sterl. Keep us up on how things are going and lots of love to you.

Dear Lord please bless Miss Wilma and her mama and guide the doctor's hands to heal her mama's cancer. Give her strength to handle the side effects of chemo and bless her with renewed joy in your love and the sweetness of life all around her. Let her make goals for her "after cancer" life and live each day in happiness. This we ask in your name. Amen.

Praying for your momma, Miss Wilma.

As a matter of fact I received an old MJF mag yesterday that featured your story! And you told of your momma and I was thinking, WOW married at thirteen, what a strong woman she must be.

Hugs and prayers.

First I want to thank all of you for your support and prayers My mom came thru the surgery great, they got all of it in the breast, had to take out some of the lymph nodes for test and we wont know about that until Wednesday,She has so much spirt, and Tina I took her all the books I bought from you and put them right beside her, she was thrilled to pieces. I have my fingers crossed that radium is all she will have to have. Sorry I havent been in touch much lately , there has just been so much going on here. I love you all and miss you. Miss Wilma
