Maybe it is just me but I can't seem to get going this week!! I have tons of things to do but can't seem to get started. Maybe it is the weather cloudy, windy and blah. I bet no one else feels like this You gals are always so cheerful. Oh well got to get started on something.

Thanks,
Tina

Tina - I am the same way, I have two perfectly good days off with DH at work and DS at school, lots of projects and absolutely no motivation. I think it is the January doldrums:) Hope it ends soon,

I've been this way for a while and it is SO frustrating. I just had a 3 day weekend and got nothing done. :sigh:

Good Morning Farmgirls
Had a great way to get rid of the January blues. We got snow here yesterday and when I got home form work I went outside and played in it with the kids. Got absolutely soaked, snow was wet and slushy, but had blast. Warmed up at the woodstove when we were done. Put roses in our cheeks and smiles on our faces. Get up, get going, and do something silly to chase away the cobwebs of winter.
Cheers

I'm blaming it on the weather, there must be something turning us all into sleepwalkers. That is how I feel this week, just not enough energy to accomplish anything.

Tina- It's not just you, unfortunately! I still am able to plan lots of things, but the follow through has been less than spectacular! I have some full spectrum lights that I think I am going to put in today. Hopefully that will help.

Rough week and rough winter. I try to see the beauty in whatever season we're in but sheesh, it's hard to see the bright side at the end of January. It's nice to know that other women are having a hard time getting moving too. I think I'm going to take Ellen Degeneres' advice and try dancing!

I know when the day starts off cloudy I can't get much more than my morning cup of tea made. I'll sit on the sofa for hours doing absolutely nothing. I think my brain figures it's still night since there's no sun. I sit under a full spectrum light but that only helps marginally on the real cloudy days.

Today, we have bright sunshine and I'm up, I'm active, I'm full of energy! Hang in there, the sun will return soon!

I have heard two of you guys talk about full spectrum light. what is that? just gave away my cat today. that also is making me sad. Doctors thought I had asthma for 16 years but when I went for alergy test it was my Itty Bitty Kitty that had me sneezing and carring on. Bad day all around. I sure am glad to know that there are others that are droopy also.

I think it must be the gloomy cloudy weather. And so darn cold. All I want to do is stay in, too. And do nothing. But I do get up and go do a little, like the cleaning up challenge. That's helped me a lot to get motivated to get the ole house clean every day. Thanks, Heather, for starting it and Alee for taking it over and crackin' that whip! I snap out of it when the son comes out. Makes all the difference for me.

I hope you get through the rest of the month and your weather gets better.

Hey, where's Watkinsville? I'm in GA. too.

Hugs, Kris

Well you girls have hit the nail on the head.... That's the problem! Today I went to the library this morning & theywere not open yet...I have had good intentions of going back to the library..It's only 4 miles away, but I keep finding "Stuff" to sort thru, Letters to write, and then I have Kristin calling me back to the computer telling me to Bake Chocolate Valentine cupcakes..I can't seem to get anything productive done today.. except have my picture taken...for crying out loud, What am I to do....*take a nap maybe?"

Gray skies, cold weather and lots of crud going around up here in MN. That tends to drag me down. Today was sunny though and I managed to get a few things accomplished. :)
