I have some daffodil bulbs that have been planted for years so I dug them up last fall, but haven't planted them again. I'm in the Tri-cities in Washing, so am wondering if planting them in February will be okay, or should I wait till next fall.
As I grow older, I want my dreams and my friends to be real. |

I have put them in the ground in February and many other times of the year. And they either do something in the spring or stay dormant until it's time to do something.
That's just my experience; I don't really know what is "best".

How do they look? Are they sprouting new growth fromthe bulb? I think I would try it now.. with good soil & cover w/compost, incase your weather turns cold. I agree they will or won't come up this year.

They shouldn't mind the cold too much, I don't think. Daffodil bulbs actually need so many hours of cold to bloom.
That's why planting them late might not lead to blooms, but you may get foliage, and then blooms next year.
