I guess I don't know how to search a group. But I've found at least 17 farmgirls so far, anyway! Or they've found me!

Bonnie, I got your request this morning and added you. I am having a hard time with a couple of them knowing who the real name is that goes with the username here..lol. I just keep adding because I know that eventually Ill figure it out...lol Of course, I know that we are going to figure out the Mary Jane farmgirl group too so... hugs

Mom, Yep! That is the one. I am on the kentucky farmgirls (not sure how I got there..lol) and the Mary Janes Farm group itself. You can go on my profile to info and scroll down to where groups are at. In it, it should say MaryJanes Farm or something like that. They use it as a link, so you should be able to go right to it from there. hugs

Okay, I got the requests/confirmations/gifts, but I'm not sure what to do with the gifts, so you will all have to be patient with me until I figure it out. I have an aquarium or something now and fish as gifts. I haven't started my farm yet but hope to soon. I had 3 requests for an interview...I did one which asked me like 100 questions. I put that on my profile so do I "ignore" the other 2 requests??
It's fun, but takes a while to learn it all, at least for me. It's great seeing everyone!!

I can't beleive all the farmgirls that have added me as friends, I'll never get any work done now! LOL! I LOVE IT! I was away for the weekend but will try to figure out what to do no "my farm" and how to keep everything alive! Cool project! Any tips from you experts!? Hugs, Linda

OOOOHHH! I am so glad to see that others are loving Facebook, too! I was feeling a bit guilty the other day because I am on there so much. Not for long in one sitting, but I check it often. I am Toni Overturff Lovelady on there. Now I am gonna go see if I can find some of you gals! So if you get a friend request from an odd girl in Indiana, it's me! |

Sue- for the myfarm app, people can send you trees and animals that would be on a farm or ranch. When you see the screen that looks like a big field of grass, you can click on a plow in the lower right hand corner to plow the ground. Then you go to the "store" and buy seeds to plant. Each seed takes a different amount of time to grow (1, 2, or 3 days) and buys/sells for different amounts. After the crop has grown, you click the button that looks like a reaper to harvest the crop.
So when someone sends you a "myfarm gift" click "accept" and it takes you to the gift section of your farm. From there you can click "my farm" and it will take you to the interface area.

I'm on Facebook as well, it's so addictive. I'm Stacy Stipes in DC.

I'm new to Facebook too. It's been really fun trying to find old friends! I'm new here too, but if anyone wants to add me as a friend, just say so, lol! I'd like to try to find some of y'all tomorrow while the day care kids nap...dishes can obviously wait!

I have spent so much time on facebook that my blog has been pretty much ignored for weeks. I love seeing photos of my cousins kids whom I have not seen in years, back in touch with friends from my past, and getting to know people from church better...so it is time well spent!

I just wanted to say "Thanks" for all the love you farmgirls have been sending my way on facebook, I do appreciate it. I just wanted to write a quick note here about all of the stuff I've been getting. I'm on slow dial-up and my online time per month is limited, so I can't really join in on the myfarm game, as it eats up too much time to load everything. I really do appreciate all of the cyber-gifts that have come my way, but I won't be playing the myfarm and wanted to let all of you know so that you don't think I don't appreciate it (I do appreciate all of it!)... and by letting you know that I can't do the myfarm, you'll send your plants and animals to those who are playing and need the items! Please don't be offended, its just a time/money issue! We're on one income and the limited dial-up is one way we make things work! I'm sure you all can understand... I am loving learning about all of you and seeing all the updates and photos! Farmgirl hugs! |
