lol..It is addictive isnt it! I spend a lot of time there. Almost as much as I do here. I have met so many of my old friends and even made a couple of new ones. ;)

I've never looked into facebook. I thought it was just another myspace kind of thing and I never even maintained that. I got bored with it really fast. Can somebody explain what myfarm and petsociety are?

Alee-when you type in your own thing it is going to give your name probably if not close. It gives the information that is closest to your own first. :) Like if I would pick Alee Reid, it would show me every Alee Reid in my network first which is South Jersey.

Lisa- Facebook is like a super public blog. People can find you using your email or your name. You can post pictures in an album and you can update your status- like "Alee is doing homework...ugh" is one I do a lot! LOL Then you have a "Wall" where people leave you messages and you can message back and forth. It also has an instant chat feature.
Their are little mini applications. I have the myfarm where you can grow crops for profit, a green patch which uses sponsors to save rain forest, and a kidnapping one where I kidnap friends and they have to answer trivia to escape. It's lots of fun and totally addicting! It's neat to find people you forgot about and get little snapshots into their lives.

I'm on facebook, but I don't know what the myfarm or other apps are either. So far I've only added friends. Haven't taken the time to understand or accept the pokes, invites, green plants or all of the other things that get passed around. If anyone wants to explain those things, that would be welcome advice :)!

I joined facebook too at the prodding of my daughter.. I do not understand any of it either . I suppose some of my farmfriends could add me (cheryl severeide) I might learn what to do... Duh usually I need a picture drawn.. Ha!

I am also on facebook ALL THE TIME!!! I can keep in touch with my college daughter and friends from highschool and college. I usually have MJF page opened and then a facebook page opened and go back and forth between them. I am not knitting or embroidering as much as I used too!! Not surprising, huh? LOL!
