I'd like to recommend a great book for those interested in "old-timey" housekeeping: Mrs. Dunwoody's Excellent Instructions for Homekeeping: Timeless Wisdom and Practical Advice by Miriam Lukken. I've had it about 4 years now, and I'd be lost without it. Lots of great homekeeping advice and "green" solutions. And it's fun to read!

I have that book Jess. I forgot about it. I'll have to get it out again.

I had that book. I sent it in a package with some other things to Kentucky Frannie as 'farmgirl' mail. It is a great book.
