The deadline is coming quick on this (Jan 31), but if your little one already has a recipe, it'd be fun to send it in!

THINK OUTSIDE THE LUNCHBOX, KIDS' RECIPE CONTEST Virtual Field Trip Web
Site, MeetMeAtTheCorner.org, is Challenging Kids to Create Their Own Lunch
Recipe as Part of the "Everybody Eats Lunch" Recipe Contest

NEW YORK, NY (December 10, 2008) -- What do you eat for lunch? The standard
peanut butter and jelly sandwich or a more innovative concoction.

MeetMeAtTheCorner.org, the Web site that sends kids on virtual fieldtrips,
is hosting the "Everybody Eats Lunch" Recipe Contest
(http://www.everybodyeatslunchcontest.com). Open to children ages 7-12, the
contest challenges children to develop their own lunch recipe, hot or cold,
a unique formula or an interpretation of one seen elsewhere. Ingredients
and directions on how to prepare the recipe need to be included. Entries
must be postmarked by January 31, 2009 to qualify.

All eligible entries will be judged by Cricket Azima, author of "Everybody
Eats Lunch." Four winners (two in the age 7-9 category and two in the age
10-12 category) will receive an autographed copy of Azima's book and a
one-year subscription to Kiwi magazine. The winners will be announced in
February, 2009. The winning recipes will be featured in a
MeetMeAtTheCorner.org video podcast shortly thereafter.

Complete information and entry forms can be found at
http://www.everybodyeatslunchcontest.com. Mail recipe, entry form, name,
age, address, daytime phone number and e-mail address to
MeetMeAtTheCorner.org "Everybody Eats Lunch" Recipe Contest, 1710 First
Ave., PO Box 283, New York, NY 10128. All submissions become the property of
MeetMeAtTheCorner.org. Entries that are not among the winners may be
featured in a future video podcast. One entry per person.

For more information on the "Everybody Eats Lunch" Recipe Contest as well as
other contests the Web site is holding, visit MeetMeAtTheCorner.org.
