big doll for Kim begins....
I drew the pattern on paper then adjusted as I cut out. This is an adult woman's shape.
I've made alot of dolls with patterns so it wasn't hard for me to freehand. Anyone should try it! give it a shot and you'd be surprised at what ya can do!

Ann , you might have to wait until February for your sweetie to come! I am finishing up all my other projects and then focusing on her..have a pattern picked out that I hope you like....even have some old fabric for clothing ready.....keep up with the pictures! you all are giving me some great ideas!

Works for me! I sent my doll out to Linda on Saturday....I have alot going on in the next couple of weeks so needed to get mine done ahead of time!

OMG!!! I will get yours finished soon. I have been put back a few days. My DH broke his arm and had surgery today to have a plate put in and he will be able to come home tomorrow so maybe I will be able to be home to get something done. sitting at the hospital waiting is not my idea of fun. I did some knitting but it was still tiring...

I got her today! Danny boy wants to hug her and I won't let him...he'll get too attached and he has kids dirty hands...lol
He is amazed at looking at her and so am I....so Beautiful!!

Kim, I think I am going to have to send you a doll I started a long time ago...she doesn't have hair yet or shoes.
I hurt my wrist again really bad...was trying to heal after therapy and I did too much. Now I can't work the sewing machine...:-(
big pain...it is tendonitis
I could put hair on this dolly by hand and I think you'd like her! Is that ok??...she is about 30 inches tall.
lemme take a pic...while she is bald...LOL

Oh melanie,
My dolly came today and is she ever cute.!!!! Just absolutely love her coat especially up north here where we have had negative number for a week or two now. She did need it!!! My grandduaghters wanted her and I told them no way this was my dolly....!!!! I absolutely love her. I can start working on yours now. Have her cut out and turned and now that my hubby is home from the hospital I will have more time to be here and work on important stuff!!!!! hehehehe Thank you so much Big hug Bev
