hi farmgirls .. we're hoooome sweet kentucky hoooome! have over a hundred -e-mails to read and answer (sooooooo .. if you've sent me an e-mail and want to take the dolly class .. i'll be replying sometime tomorrow) .. peeked in at the farmgirl connection .. and have much reading catching up to do! so many new topics and some new friends too!!!! (welcome! welcome!)

hope you all had a most marvelous christmas .. and have some sweet new year's eve plans (and sometimes just staying at home with loved ones is the very best kind of way to welcome in the new year!)

oh .. and do share with us any 'new year's resolutions' you might be making. (will start a new 'topic' heading for that if someone hasn't already done so).

we made great memories with that little lucas of ours .. and you just know i'm gonna' be posting some photos of him soon! a fun filled few days with family and friends. our little wednesday is so very blessed to have a big and kind and very loving Hungarian family in toledo!

on the ride up .. i had a chance to stuff a dozen more dolly bodies and can hardly wait to get to making clothes for them .. and on the ride back home .. i devoured maryjane's magazines again and again .. and was inspired to make up some little dolly apron 'poems' which will need to be stitched up .. what fun!

honey hunk and i treated ourselves to those 'palm pilot' calendar thingies! we both have tons of notebooks that we just fill with lots of ramblings and note-taking with all the organizations we are involved with down here in kentucky ... and we're hoping this will keep everything all in one place for fast referral. they look like fun if we can ever 'figger' out how to work them!

well, i best go start unpacking .. can hardly wait to get 'connected' with you girls over the next week as i read all your postings.

AND .. i hope to get that dolly class started by mid-january!

hugs, frannie

Hi Frannie,

Welcome home! I received my apron in time for Christmas!! Thank you so much. I too had a wonderful time with one of my daughters and her boyfriend. Was hoping he'd pop the question, but they'll get around to things in their own good time. We had a house full of others and I got to cook and fuss over them. So glad you had a wonderful holiday. I have to email you about the dolly class tonight.

Debbie

Welcome home Frannie, missed ya! Now that the holidays are over it's time to think about how we plan for the New Year, like always, I'd like to lose some weight, but more important, get healthier, and I want to be more creative, both in my writing and crafts. We did have a engagment announced on Christmas day, our true middle child popped the question on the way to dinner, so we welcome another daughter in law to the family, and after 2 births last year, were due for a wedding!

Sue, congrats on the big announcement! Will it be a spring wedding?

Frannie, could i also get a pattern for a raggedy girl and boy? Or is that what dolly you have planned. I just love the two and want to make some for friends who are expecting this summer.
I am enjoying the last of the sweets that have appeared over the holiday. Soon I will have to sew a wider waistband on my pants! resolution for 2006- eat right, laugh more, anjoy everyday for all it's blessings.

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

Welcome Beth!!! Not sure when the wedding will take place, maybe a classic June affair? My family, including me, contacted a nasty stomach bug just after Christmas day, so since I'm cleaned out, no time like the present to watch what I put back in, less and better.
