Got yet another question, for any of you that sew with wool....
Does it actually wick moisture away from ones body....
My dad always used it next to his body when he hiked(before all of the new fabrics), and said that it did just that,,,,does it?, wic away moisture from ones body...
Some still use "soakers" for their babies, is that why they use it?
Wondering??????

yes...there's a massive amount of mommies that make wool soakers for their babies. Do a google search and you'll be enlightened.

Do you think the wool is scratchy next to the skin? I find that wool does itch me very much. I am braiding a wool rug right now and my hands are itchy from the wool.I have heard that wool does wick away moisture, however I never did try it with diapering my babies. I was worried about the scratchy, itchy feel of it.
