I have not posted anything in a long time, but I thought this is the perfect place to let it all out. My husband is over seas and has only been gone a little over a month but feels like years. He will hopefully return in the end of the school year. We have four children 9,7,4 and nine months. I just wish I could go through one day without crying. I thought that it was to get easier rather than harder each day.I feel like I am at the verge of really losing it. My house that is usually clean is a mess, I have laundry up to my eyeballs. My children do not listen to a word that comes out of my mouth.I think too I have be keeping it inside and just talkin a little about it I guess helps. You girls on there are great and I knew I could let a little out.

Stephanie, Please go see your doctor and tell him exactly what you are feeling. This is serious!! I know, I went through the same thing when my husband was in Viet Nam. Believe me things can get worse if you don't deal with the problem now.

Hey Stephanie, you do need to keep talking about how you feel. And it sounds like the kids could use some help, too. Don't forget they are in the same boat as you are and they probably don't understand alot or don't know how to let it out except to be defiant right now. It's really hard on kids, too.

I agree with Linda. Talk to a professional soon. I'll be keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. And hopefully the time will fly by. Do you have family nearby that could help you out some? Or maybe hire a house cleaning service to help you get started with the house cleaning.

Lots of hugs coming your way from Georgia! Kris

A very good friend of mine was an army wife and I know that she was involved in helping the new gals to try to adjust to there new life style. Is ther any one like that around if not See a Doctor talk to friends talk to family. Please find some help I wonder if you are having some hormonal problems too. Having a baby only 9 months old. Your body may still be processing all the stuff.

thanks for all the support.. I think that I am was so used to having so much help from my husband and then no help it makes it something to ajust too.I am only working one day a month so that is a help too, being home. My mom came over to help put up laundry and I think now I am back where I used to be , lets say its back under control :) its just hard to get used to I think! your are a single parnet when you were used to being part of a team.I am trying to get organized and all that stuff and i want to scrapbook while he is gone maybe that will give me something to do. I just need to talk about it and ask for help when i need it. anyone have any good tips for quick easy make ahead meals and anything else that i could do to make my life easer? thanks for all the hugs and support this is just what i needed !!
