Just as a testimonial :) we ordered chickens from Meyer last spring (meat chickens and a few silkies) and all was wonderful. Inexpensive chickens and great customer service! Really!

With your geese...do you guys have Sebastopols? I've had them before, and love the way they look floating across the water!
I'm calling for a catalog tomorrow.

I tried 3 different kinds the first year, Wyandotts, Rhode Island Reds and Aracaunas (SP) Only got a few eggs from the Aracaunas but the RIR are great layers, as is the Wyandott. They all are so tame and sweet, follow me around like a puppy dog. I pick them up and hug them all the time! I never thought it would be so fun but it really is. Can't wait til next year.

gosh, I just love chickens. They are the best. Tammy, I am hoping that the printer delivers those catty's by Monday or Tuesday. Then I will be in a mailing frenzy! I'm so glad that you're excited! I love chick season...I love walking into the hatch room on hatching day and seeing bin after bin of tiny fluff balls. SO CUTE! We hatch out about 40,000 chicks a week, so it's nearly deafening too!
