Just as a testimonial :) we ordered chickens from Meyer last spring (meat chickens and a few silkies) and all was wonderful. Inexpensive chickens and great customer service! Really! |

With your geese...do you guys have Sebastopols? I've had them before, and love the way they look floating across the water! I'm calling for a catalog tomorrow.

I tried 3 different kinds the first year, Wyandotts, Rhode Island Reds and Aracaunas (SP) Only got a few eggs from the Aracaunas but the RIR are great layers, as is the Wyandott. They all are so tame and sweet, follow me around like a puppy dog. I pick them up and hug them all the time! I never thought it would be so fun but it really is. Can't wait til next year.

gosh, I just love chickens. They are the best. Tammy, I am hoping that the printer delivers those catty's by Monday or Tuesday. Then I will be in a mailing frenzy! I'm so glad that you're excited! I love chick season...I love walking into the hatch room on hatching day and seeing bin after bin of tiny fluff balls. SO CUTE! We hatch out about 40,000 chicks a week, so it's nearly deafening too!
