My Grand daughter Abby and I were sorting out some of my thrift store jewely. Sooooo many pretty pieces. If you have time, click on the picture to enlarge it so you can see how nice the pieces are. Don't understand why people give these things up. You would think they would know someone to give nice pieces of jewelry to.

WoW good stuff! I see some of the costume jewelry that I collect and inherited what my great granny had. I love it, it makes me feel like there is a story to them and just all the pretty shine!

I have several shoe boxes of jewelry like that. I saw a wall hanging of a christmas tree made by hot gluing pieces of jewelry and strands of beads on a board covered with black velvet. I bought lots and lots of stuff from garage sales. You have reminded me to get the stuff out of the storage shed and make the wall hanging before next Christmas..............maybe.

** Nice Stuff!! **

I used to go to the thrift store a lot up in Va., but down here without a vehicle, it's hard to get over to the 3 that are up the highway. I used to find Great teeny items that go good in collages, but the treasures I found are still in storage. I've got to figure out a way to get a rental truck & bring my "precious Cargo" back down here!!

You did Great!! finding these things...makes me wanna go grab the glue gun an' start in making Things!!

What dazzlers! I never see anything that interesting anymore, and since my expertise seems to be in losing things rather than locating them, it is probably just as well...your granddaughters must have such a good time with you. Not just a woman with a wonderful sense of humor, but stockpiles of interesting things to look at....

Snowing out, not too bad yet, but I have learned to expect the worst. I think I'm just cranky today, I am going to try and post a picture later of my latest quilt silliness. I swear, my computer is thwarting me!
