Miz Frannie's dollies are the best. But then they are made with a love that Miz Frannie shares with all that enter her life. If you ever get the chance to attend one of her Gurlfrendz gathering. Take it. You will be so happy and loved that you did.

Glad you like it dutchy. It took me a solid hour to go thru the pages and didn't read all the comments, that's for sure, but I loved the tutorial! You can make your own pattern. Just draw the shapes the size you want. She shows how to make the clothes patterns to fit. If we started a dolly sew-a-long we could share a pattern. Or if someone wanted to host a doll swap. If you have a printer someone may email a pattern to you.

Frannie, if you are reading this then could you comment or add to my suggestion of a sew-along on the "lets talk dolls" What do you think?

I would love to be included in a doll sew-along! I love clothdolls, primitives and have recently been looking at patterns for Comfort Dolls. Has anyone else seen them? They're different but very pretty...here's a blog that shows them...

I'm confused...is there actually a pattern in here somewhere, or is this something that was done once and never again? Is the thread active? |

Kim, thanks for posting the link to Comfort Dolls. What a lovely idea. I'm thinking about making some for our local women's shelter.

Hi girls. Since this thread has gotten really long and a little hard to plow through, I wanted to jump in and let you know that Frannie has already provided a tutorial (along with a pattern) in the "She's a Keeper" issue of our magazine. I'll post a link to a pdf of that page on our magazine site here: http://www.maryjanesfarm.org/Recipes-Patterns-Instructions
Just scroll down until you see the "extras" for the She's a Keeper issue for your tutorial and pattern!
