Hello, Now that Christmas is mostly past, we are looking ahead to the coming year. As we expand our farming operation (mostly organic veggies) - we are looking for suggestions for record keeping - what we grow, sell, etc...
Many warm wishes, Tonya - Homemaking, Homesteading Mom of 6

I like Quickbooks over Quicken. Do you have an accountant? Mine runs Quickbooks too so taxes are really easy.

I agree. I am studying to become an accountant and by far, Quickbooks is amazing. There are some free online classes that you can take to learn how to utilize it to best advantage.

Along with Quickbooks I believe that there are some agricultural accounting programs that can be set up for specific fields, orchards, etc. with cost, production and income tracking. Unfortunately I don't know who makes them. I just remember reading an article about them. |

I started out using quicken. Works for me. I love the fact you can see how much did I pay to.... and your amounts are right there.
