I know-I know- the gift giving is over for a bit- but still it's a great time to think about recycling stuff!!!

Ya know all that gift tissue ya stuff into those cute bags- well next time ya want a vintage look, maybe for a homemade gift, try using old sewing pattern tissue.
If you pair that with brown paper gift bag it is a very nice "vintage" look.

Post a picture if ya try it- I haven't taken a picture yet.

Blessings,
Autumn

thanks
sometimes we favor the "brown paper packages tied up with string."

Yep, I'm a pattern tissue wrapper myself! I love that look. :)

That sounds adorable. I try to reuse all my tissue, bags, and wrapping paper until they tear.

Me too, I've even been known to iron used tissue paper to "freshen" it up a bit, lol

Great Idea, however, I am a SAVER, never know when I'm gonna wish I still -had THAT pattern. I'm sick I know.

What a brilliant idea, I've got lots of patterns I'll never use. And when you go to the local dollar stores they always wrap glass in really goofy looking tissue paper.

I had read this someplace and have been looking at the thrift everytime I go for old patterns. But so far haven't found any. But when I do see them I will get them. I think its a real cute idea.
