update!!!!
Jess is going to take this swap over since she has done this kind of swaps before. So she will add everyone names that signed up here and any one else that signs up. Hope we all have fun!!!!

I was just wondering if anyone would be interested in doing a clothes pin swap for valentines? I know there is already a card swap and a gift swap but I just thought it would be nice to have something to hang the cards up with? Anyone interested? If not that is ok too. Just thought I would ask. 20 would be a good number to make I think? Let me know.I would have you mail them to me and I could mix them up and mail them on. Either send a Postage Paid self addressed envelope or $3.00 to mail them back with.

A clothespin swap is you take ,in this case 20 clothespins, and you decorate them for whatever holiday, this one being valentines day and you send them to the person putting on the swap and she devides them up for all the people that joined the swap and you get back 20 clothespins from other people that they decorated. so you get back what you give but all different ones instead of all the same one that you decorated. Does that help?

Thanks for the welcome! I am soooo enjoying myself. I feel like I found a whole bunch of sisters I never knew I had. Anytime I have a question I know I can come here and someone will probably know something about the subject. I would love to do a clothespin swap. It sounds like fun. My son would love to help me. I hope more people get on board or I will make you 20 clothespins and you can make me 20 clothespins:P just kidding it is still early.
Merry Christmas

Beverley, I would like to be in the swap too. Please put me down for 20 also. When is the cut off date to have them sent to you by? Does it matter which kind of clothes pins we use, the solid one piece ones or the pinch kind?

Take care, Melissa.

Melissa,
no it does not matter , I hope we get enough people that want to do this , so a cut off date would probably be around the end of january but we will have to see if this whole swap is a go first.

I believe Jessica (SmoothieJuice) hostesses regular clothespin swaps, so I'd ask her what the theme of her next one is so that you don't duplicate it perhaps?

I just picked up a pack of clothes pins on Friday...I am on my way to Michaels Craft store shortly. (need to finish the laundry first)
My sister in law gave me a $30.00 gift card. I hope to catch a few sales. I also need more supplies for the Valentine Card swap that I signed up for. I am going to try and be a little more traditional with my decorating of these pins. Maybe some water proof paint. Oh...I just had a thought...I might need to use the drill again. Maybe some beads...hmmmmm......

Jess,
Be on the look out for my clothespins.
They are on my sewing table. (I need to get a craft table) I want to make sure the paint is not tacky and that the glue holds well. So if all goes well, I will have them in the mail to you on Saturday.
I am trying to get a jump on all the swaps I signed up for. But If I do have to admit, this is a very fun swap. I realy liked all the pins I received for "winter".

Well, its 11pm here. I am going to try to say up and watch the ball drop.
My daughter went to Atlantic City. I hope she has a fun time.
Happy New Years to everyone!!
