This is what I just posted on my BLOG:
I am completely flabbergasted! Something wonderful just entered my home, or rather many things wonderful!!
Today was the Christmas Market here in my village and there was also a prize to be won. I didn't even know about this so ofcourse I didn't enter. BUT someone ????? entered MY name. And a friend from church picked the winner out of a basket, and guess what! IT WAS ME!!!!
YAY I WON!! And what did I win??? A BIG box full of groceries! From wine to soup, from toiletpaper to a complete dinner, from candles to chips, from more wine to candies, from more candles to cakemixes and many more goodies. ALSO a day planner, 3 t-shirts, a bag with napkins and another pretty candle, AND a lovely wooden round box with a chicken painted on it!!
So you can imagine I am SO happy! WOW me winning a prize like this! Someone must have realized I so needed this, lol. I really DO need this because as with so many other people money is tight here too. SO thank you God, for putting my name in the hands of my friend from Church.

That is just wonderful!! I love surprises like that!! The fun part is putting it all away!! And then remembering where it came from when you use it!!

How neat for you, Dutchy!! I love surprises, too. And especilly when it is SO needed. Enjoy it all, you deserve to get a surprise every now and then.

And you know what? The WHOLE church was/is so happy for me to have won! I got many congratulations this morning in Church.
I am still in awe, and keep looking, lol. I still find items that I think, OH that is in it too, YAY!
Yes it sure comes at a wonderful time. Like I said, money is real tight so couldn't buy real nice yummies for myself. Elvis has his food, and I get by with what was still in my freezer, and what a dear friends from Church gave me if I went over for supper there. She always gave me the left-overs, so the next day I had a nice warm meal. Often I just have a cheese-sandwich or some pasta. But now I can make me a real nice dinner for Christmas AND many more days after that too, YAY
