Hi All. I just wanted to thank my daughter for inviting me to help her out today. We did a Christmas Cookie activity at her work on her day off. She is a CNA at one of the local convalescence homes. We spend two hours handing out cookies or letting those who wanted to decorate sugar cookies for themselves or others. The activity personnel didn't think this would fly but the patients just had to much fun. We were even asked if we could come back and do something for valentine's day. I suggested that we could make some paper valentines and have refreshments. I am really starting to feel that holiday spirit.

That is wonderful, Madelynne! I bet the residents there really appreciated your time and attention. Your naturally Sunny character must have been wonderful for them as well!

That is so nice, and I bet you all had a blast doing it too. I'm sure the residents there loved it.

The funniest part was they all thought I was her older sister. When I stated no I was her mom, they all laughed. I couldn't figure out if this was a good thing or not. It either said I looked young or my daughter looks really old.
