Hi Everyone DH is still looking for a job and we are going on month 7 months without one. We are behind our bills which is totally needless to say.My DH has been working part time with my Dad's business, but this could consist of anywhere from 8 hours to 32 hours. We are thankful for the job because it at least keeps groceries on the table and gas in the car. What I am asking prayer for though is this: My parents bought us a house with the intent that later on down the road we would buy it from them. It is actually a trailer, so there is lot rent. Without a job, we are not doing well coming up with the lot rent right now. We haven't been able to move in yet, because of no job. The last few weeks DH has only been getting in 12-16 hrs. Normally, that would maintain us for a little bit but with the rent on top of it, it is leaving us about $20.00 a week for propane for heat, gas, groceries, and necessities: diapers etc. (The thing that is astonishing me is that propane is running us $44.00 a week, so you can imagine what this week is looking like.) I know God can and will provide one way or another, but it is hard to give up what little there is when I know it isn't enough. Please pray for us as faith is getting hard to hold onto, expenses even for the necessities are piling up, and frustrations mounting, that we would keep heart that God WILL provide a job and that we won't lose the house we are looking forward to. Since we are unable to make the rent payment, there is a good chance that it will have to be sold. Overwhelmed in Jersey,

Jessie, you are in my prayers. I'm so sorry you all are going through this now and I hope that things will get better soon and that your husband gets a good job. You are a very sweet lady and even though you've been going through rough times you always remember others in their time of need. You don't know what your emails have meant to me in asking about my mom. God bless you!

Jessie - your post just brings tears to my eyes. I will be praying for your little family. I know that it is so hard to hang on when you're out of money and at the end of your rope. But God will provide for you!!! Believe that with all your heart. I have been without a job since May and it has been so hard. I have not gone hungry, I have had a place to live, and good friends to support me with love and prayers - it doesn't get much better than that. God has blessed me every day. Sometime He made me wait until the very end to see the blessing but it was there. Sending you much love!!

Ooh ladies, I have to tell you what your prayers today alone have done. DH and I were sitting here thinking how we were going to come up money for this week's necessities. (I can't help but smile at what little faith I have sometimes and God has a secret that He is just waiting to share with us!) Anyways, DH called his uncle with the intent of asking to borrow money. We hate to do that, but sometimes, its a last resort. He talked along, and said he jsut couldn't ask. (They have helped us out so much already.) So, DH saw the mail lady go passed and took Levi out with him to get the mail. He brought in a bill and a letter. Well, we thought it was a Christmas card actually. Our first of the season. It WAS a Christmas card from his Aunt and Uncle he had just talked to, and with the card was a check with a note that said use this as you need it. Wouldn't you know, that it was enough to cover propane for the week and get the necessities for groceries!!!!! We are truly standing amazed in His presence today! He I was nauseated at the thought of $20.00 to cover all we needed and God had already had it covered. :O) (Yes, I bawled outta sheer relief and amazement. ...lol We still desperately need a job, but we were reminded today, that God's got this one under control. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR PRAYERS!! HUGS!

Isn't God good? I don't know how many times He has provided for us just in time. Every time! There's been times we didn't know where our next meal was coming from (literally) and someone would come bring us a bag of groceries or pay a bill for us. He is all we need when we depend on Him. He will provide. It may not be what we expect, but He always knows what we need. God is good! All the time!
I'm praying your husband finds the right job for him and ya'll will be able to move into your new home soon.
And thank God for family. You didn't even need to ask because God had already laid it on the uncle's heart to send you what you needed at that time. He already knew!! I love how He works. It is so absolutely amazing.

Hello Everyone,
Could you say a few prayers for me and my family today. My Border Collie "BANG" (my sweet friend) had to be put to sleep today, due to a large tumor in his spleen. I am heartbroken. Could use some of those Farmgirl prayers! Thank you!
Sincerely, Steph
