I am grateful for misty, cold December days like this with a scent of woodsmoke in the air. Walking outside in these conditions makes me feel truly alive.

I am grateful for a nice warm shawl to keep my shoulders warm!! I am grateful for Jessie for making nice warm shawls!! I am grateful for UPS trucks to bring nice warm shawls right straight to me! And I am grateful for a nice sweet lady who will be wearing the pretty blue shawl tomorrow when I go see her. I am also grateful (well not really right now but will be in spring) for all this much needed rain.
And you know what else? I am grateful to be able to see all these other posts full of grateful women from all over this wonderful country of ours. It is good.

Today I'm grateful for my wonderful students. They pulled together to help another student's children have a Christmas! Instead of being competitive they have decided to work as a team to get everyone through our program which is very difficult at times. |

I am grateful that there is a drain in the basement floor for all the water that was there when the pipes froze. Now I am grateful that I can fix the broken pipes and clean the water up and by tonight I will have water again. Diana

Today I am grateful for being able to stop and think twice before telling someone what I really think of them. Thank goodness for second glances! hugs

I am so grateful for the warmer weather we are having here right now. I don't have to run my heaters!

I'm thankful for being able to go look at great Christmas lights and it was all free and even had a country store at one place that had some great deals! If you are in Ga check out therockranch.com they have lots of things to do year round!

today I am grateful for the evening I had last night with my family. We got on our jammies, ate pizza, made big mugs of hot chocolate and rode around looking at Christmas lights. It was so fun with a 2 and 5 year old, and a preggy daughter, and my hubby.....son in law did the driving....so grateful for the memories it made.

Today I'm grateful that this area of WI (north but not as far as the Lake Superior area) hasn't had the big snowfalls yet and I've been able to get back and forth to work safely. |

I farm girled up I went in with the knowledge that what won't hurt helps you. It is now 2 days and 7 hours but I have water and feel great. Time for a hot bath.
