Mom is doing okay... she goes to the doctor at 12:30 today for a body scan to see if there is cancer anywhere else. Of course, we are supposed to get 2-4 inches of snow this afternoon, but compared to the weather the last few weeks, that seems like nothing! Keep the prayers coming...she will need them today.

Good evening! I just wanted to let you know I spent the afternoon with my mom, going to Bruegger's for a bagel (an addiction for both of us!), to the craft store, and to Dunkin Donuts for white hot chocolate and glazed donuts. Just to get her out and about, and eating, is a joy for me. She will get her results for her body scan on Monday, so it will be a long weekend for me, but especially for my mom and dad. Your prayers are most welcome, and greatly appreciated by all of us! There is a wonderful woman at my local Y named Shirley who has only met my mom once at a water aerobics class that asked today if she could pray for her...I told her absolutely!! We are storming the gates of heaven!!! Thank you all.

I'll be praying that your mom gets good results on her scan. I'm glad that she felt well enough to get out and about with you. You're a wonderful daughter...don't forget to take care of yourself too.

Bagels, hot chocolate....a daughter who loves her mother so much.....despite the time she is going through, she is blessed, too, to have you.

Kelly, the prayers keep going up from here. I scared myself because I clicked on the first page instead of the last and thought your mom was going through this all over again! So I'll be boosting the prayers and be looking for a good report on Monday.

God bless -

Thank you, ladies, for your support. Jeannie...I appreciate that...she is torn between the daughter here and the daughter waiting for her in heaven.
Karen...HA HA!! I thought it was just me who did things like that!!!

Kelly,
Thinking of your Mom and continuing to uphold her in prayer before the throne of grace. She has such a sweet and loving spirit. I was so touched to have received her Christmas card. She is so blessed to have you to be there for her. Praying God will bring her through this to bring glory to Himself.
